Drum Major & Music Leadership Camp

The camp focus will be on the following concepts:

This Camp focuses on introducing and developing the necessary fundamental leadership skills of drum majors and student leaders

Event Dates: Monday, July 11th to Thursday, July 14th

Required:

  •  Athletic attire, sun screen, water bottle

  • Conducting patterns, tempos, hand independence (cues and dynamics)
  • Communication skills
  • Teaching fundamentals
  • Organizational skills
  • Technology usage
  • Score reading and preparation

  • 12:00-1:30 pm Lunch (On your own)
    1:30-5:00 pm Camp

Tuesday, July 12th to Wednesday, July 13th

  • 9 am-12:00 pm Camp
  • 12:00-1:30 pm Lunch (On your own)
  • 1:30-5:00 pm Camp

Thursday, July 14th

  • 9 am-12:00 pm Camp
